Job Description

Communications Security (COMSEC) Analyst
The scope of support is to assist the Air Force in its efforts to transition COMSEC accounts to the new Key Management Infrastructure (KMI), through telephonic support, working with various COMSEC Managers worldwide. The position includes the following tasking:
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure their network firewalls are operational to support the KMI Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections.
  • Configure High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE) In-line Network Encryptors to KMI network specifications.
  • Assist in the ordering, tracking, handling and use of COMSEC keying material required for account transitions.
  • Assist COMSEC managers in checking the health of COMSEC account local databases for transition to the KMI Management Client (MGC) workstation.
  • Monitor, track, and support COMSEC account inventory activities IAW National Security Agency (NSA) and service level policy.
  • Provide KMI Operating Account Managers with technical assistance for the installation of the KMI MGC hardware and software, and the transition of the COMSEC account data to the KMI MGC.
  • Other tasks as assigned by your company supervisor.
Requirements:
COMSEC material management experience (5 years)
Information Technology background (5 years)
Excellent communication skills for telephonic support
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
IAT Level 1 Certification (A+, Network+ or Security+)
DoD Secret Clearance.

Hours:
Monday – Friday, with choice of 8 hour work period between 6am and 5pm. No weekend work.
